Opening the show and fresh from http://www.fabulosafest.com Fabulosa Fest, will be the amazing Jenny Hoyston! Jenny Hoyston's "lo-fi" folk and odd-rock recordings will come alive during her first appearance at Dolores Park Cafe. The singer/guitarist of internationally-known jazz-punk ensemble Erase Errata will touch on two decades of eclectic, rarely-performed solo work. Hoyston is known for tear-jerkers like "You've Already Gone," the 2006 duet she penned for a record with Alt-Country poster-boy William Elliot Whitmore, as well as the political satire found in songs like "A Passion for Acting," the 1999 Erase Errata single that portrayed the Pentagon as a collective of drama queens. We will be focusing on our alternative country music for this show cuz it’s “Country Sunday’s” there on Sunday featuring the bay area's best acts playing Country, Western, Bluegrass, Americana, Y'All-ternative, & Rockabilly.
